About Us

HCC was established in 2006 with support from Swindon Film Society and became a separate independent organisation in 2011.  We aim to provide screenings of quality films in a warm friendly atmosphere and at a modest cost.

We do not operate a membership scheme.  Admission to films is open to all supporters of the organisation on payment of the appropriate admission fee on the night, subject to venue capacity limits, and to age limits directed by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC).

We are a voluntary organisation, run by a committee elected at our Annual General Meeting held in November. Our constitution clearly states our aims and objectives, and can be viewed here.

A copy of the latest AGM minutes and financial summary can be found here.

Equipment

In 2013 we were the proud recipients of a grant from the Cooperative Community Fund  which enabled us to install a permanent screen in the hall and upgrade our sound equipment.  The screen is available for use by other organisations using the hall as part of our commitment to the local community.
